LMMS PTO - Appreciation

Thanks to all of the parents, teachers, and staff who support the LMMS PTO.  Because of your efforts, our organization is able to provide funding for extra opportunities at our Middle School.  The members of our school community have expressed their gratitude to the PTO in the letters reprinted below.

Dear Lenox Middle School P.T.O.,

Thank you for awarding me the privilege of choosing items from the “Tools for Schools” points.  My students have certainly noticed the 18 new bowls and I look forward to creating projects that will use the google eyes and press adhesive device.

Most of all, thank you for your continual support for all of the middle school programs.

Kind Regards,

Karen Romeo Leger

Middle School PTO:

I wanted to thank you for providing the money needed for scholarships. Without your support, these students might not have been able to attend Nature’s Classroom. All of you have ensured the success of our 1st trip!! Please extend a thank you to the Morris PTO as well. All of the work both PTOs do make Lenox a special place for our students.

                                    Thank you again,

NORMAN ROCKWELL ART MUSEUM

January 21, 2007

To the Members of Lenox’s Parent Teacher Organization –

This past Wednesday the sixth grade enjoyed a very successful field trip to the Norman Rockwell Museum. The students were on their best behavior and represented their school beautifully. The docents are well-versed in the life and work of Rockwell and were able to put his art into a social and historical context. As one of the students noted, he learned from the visit that art “can show more than a picture.”

Thank you so much for your funding and support of this collaboration. It was a wonderful way to take advantage of what our area offers and to connect the students to the Berkshires. We are grateful for all you do to support and enhance the education of our students!
