The
Berkshire Eagle
Dear
Student,
The staff at the Berkshire Eagle would like
to commend you on solving the Ivana B. Rich burglary case. Your teacher, Mr. Sanders, told us that you
were able to solve the case with your incredible knowledge of the scientific
method and your superior measuring skills.
Our head reporter, Lauren Jeyed is, was going to write up the details of
how you solved the case and who the burglar was, but unfortunately she has
developed a serious sore throat and could not work this week. We were hoping that you could write an
article for us that would let our millions of readers know exactly how you
cracked the case.
An
above average article should include…
·
The names of everyone involved in the case
·
A description of each person. (You can make this up, our readers will never
know!)
·
A brief description of what happened at the crime
scene
·
A definition of density and how it relates to
“floating and sinking”
·
A description of the tools that you used to solve
the case. Our readers don’t know how to
find density you know!
·
Who the burglar was and who the primary and
secondary accomplices were.
For
an outstanding article, we would like you to make article very entertaining to
read as well as include at least two of the following
·
Commentary from everyone involved in the case.
·
Sketches of each of the individuals
·
Sketch of the crime scene and necklace
·
Commentary from some of the students or teachers who
heard about the crime.
We
would like to publish your article on Thursday night, so please turn this in to
Mr. Sanders during class on that day.
Thanks
for your help.
