Element Research Project
During class you will be given a slip of paper with an atomic number on it. It will be your job to determine which element it is and find some useful information on it.
Using the atom links listed on my web page, research the following information, which you will present to the class:

Check off after you find it |
symbol |
atomic number |

atomic mass |
who discovered the element |
what year it was discovered |

In addition to the presentation, you should design a square for a giant periodic table. The square should include the element’s symbol, its atomic number and its atomic mass. You can add anything else you wish to the square.
